Doing HIS Time Prison Ministry (DHT) was founded in June of 1999 by James C. Vogelzang. Doing HIS Time is a three-pronged, State of Colorado based, Christ-centered, prison ministry.

Our first calling is to assist ex-offenders upon release from prison through our 72 Hour Fund. Secondly, with our Barn-A-Bus transportation ministry, we assist the Holy Spirit in keeping families together. Thirdly, we bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the prisons of the world by delivering DHT's prison devotional; Doing HIS Time; Meditations and Prayers for Men and Women in Prison.

72 Hour Fund reaches out to offenders while in prison by letting inmates know that there is someone out there that will help them upon release. 72 Hour Fund provides free cloths, bus tokens, and assists with getting identity papers (DL, SS #, Birth Certificate). DHT accepts clients regardless of religious affiliations. (See the 72 Hour Fund page under "Programs" for more details)

Barn-A-Bus helps keep families intact by providing transportation services for the families of inmates on visiting days (Barn-A-Bus). The suggested donation is $20.00 per rider, although there is a discount for multiple family members. We do not turn anyone away for inability to pay. You must call for an appointment. DHT brings the Good News of Jesus Christ to prisoners around the world through our devotional especially for those in prison. written especially for those in prison. Currently over 300,000 copies have been distributed in 33 countries and in eight (8) languages. The book has been translated into Spanish (Central/South America), BANTU (Africa), Tagalog, Cebuano (Philippines), Thai, Mandarin, TELUGU (India).
