American Textile Recycling Services (ATRS) has partnered with the 72-Hour Fund to help raise money for their good works through the recycling and reuse of clothing and shoes. In addition to the financial support given to the 72-Hour Fund every year, ATRS redirects tons of used and unwanted textiles that could otherwise be destined for local landfills. This is beneficial to both the environment and the local community.
You’ve probably seen an ATRS recycler and may have even donated into one of them. They are strategically located throughout various neighborhoods and provide a convenient way for residents to recycle their unwanted garments, while at the same time support a local charity.
To help support the 72-Hour Fund, look for the orange donation box with the 72-Hour Fund logo, and remember: “Orange is Green.”
