The DHT Team Expands the Outreach of Prison Chaplains and Prison Ministries Worldwide

Doing HIS Time Prison Ministry, founded in June of 1999 by Jim Vogelzang is a Christ‑centered ministry to prisoners, ex‑offenders and their families. DHT strives to be "the face and hands of Christ" by delivering practical, hands-on solutions to the challenges associated with incarceration and reintegration for inmates and their families.

Doing HIS Time Ministry strives to expand and support the beneficial ministries already being provided by prison chaplains and prison ministries in the U.S. and around the globe.

As a Christian organization, Doing HIS Time Prison Ministry (DHT) believes in the full authority of the Bible as God’s inspired Word and the complete tenets of the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the Universe, the co-eternal Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary, atoning death on the cross, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven where, as truly God and truly man, He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that the Bible is God’s authoritative and inspired Word, without error in all its teachings.

With appreciation to Prison Fellowship Ministries.

“Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.”
